COME OUT FROM FALSE WORSHIP MY PEOPLE and touch not the unclean thing! “TALKING TO THE DEAD” A religious practice of dead religion FORBIDDEN BY God!

There are two major players in the prophetic realm today to stay clear of but only one is the true Beast of Revelation.

Ultimately the true Beast is Islam, but the other Beast is the Roman Catholic Church

Come out of her, my people.“After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a habitation of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!’” (Revelation 18:1,2).
“And I heard another voice from heaven saying, ‘Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities’” (Revelation 18:4,5).
Babylon (or Babel) was the capital of an ancient empire. The name means “confusion” and originates from the confusion of languages which halted the building of the tower of Babel.

Symbolically, Babylon represents the confusion of idolatry and false religion. “And look, here comes a chariot of men with a pair of horsemen! And he answered and said, ‘Babylon is fallen, is fallen! And all the carved images of her gods He has broken to the ground’” (Isaiah 21:9).
“Declare among the nations, Proclaim, and set up a standard; Proclaim, and do not conceal it — Say, ‘Babylon is taken, Bel is shamed. Merodach is broken in pieces; Her idols are humiliated, Her images are broken in pieces’” (Jeremiah 50:2).
“And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH” (Revelation 17:5). Harlotry represents unfaithfulness to the true God through the worship of idols (Exodus 34:15,16; Leviticus 20:5; Deuteronomy 31:16; Psalm 73:27; Judges 2:17; 8:33; Jeremiah 2:20; 3:1; Ezekiel 16:15-17). all ages, Satan — that old serpent, the enemy of God and man — has supplied the world with a confusion of false religions,BUT no Religion so GREAT AND CONFUSING AS CATHOLICISM and ISLAM WHICH FULFILLS THIS PROPHESY PERFECTLY!
Israel was carried away into Babylonian captivity as punishment for its apostasy and idolatry and even today is “Politically” Deceived by the Harlots lies as is the WHOLE WORLD!

 Pitcher Plant Blossom

The Pitcher-plant is a carnivorous plant, a meat eater. plants usually live in nitrogen poor soils. They have ‘learned’ to augment the inadequate nitrogen available in the soil by capturing and consuming insects!

The inside of the tubular shaped leaf is lined with downward pointing hairs. These hairs block an insect from climbing up the tube and escaping. The fluid in the bottom of the tube contains digestive juices that will consume the insect prey.

There is also this to realize, the Roman Church is also diverting from the true Beast of Islam in her quest to take over the World

“Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldees! With a voice of singing, declare, proclaim ‘The LORD has redeemed His servant Jacob!’” (Isaiah 48:20). See verses 12-22.

“Depart! Depart! Go out from there, touch no unclean thing; go out from the midst of her, be clean, you who bear the vessels of the LORD” (Isaiah 52:11). See verses 7-12.

“‘In those days and in that time,’ says the Lord, ‘The children of Israel shall come, They and the children of Judah together; With continual weeping they shall come, And seek the Lord their God. They shall ask the way to Zion, With their faces toward it, saying, “Come and let us join ourselves to the Lord In a perpetual covenant That will not be forgotten”‘” (Jeremiah 50:4,5).“Move from the midst of Babylon, Go out of the land of the Chaldeans; And be like the rams before the flocks” (Jeremiah 50:8). “Flee from the midst of Babylon, And every one save his life! Do not be cut off in her iniquity, For this is the time of the Lord’s vengeance; He shall recompense her” (Jeremiah 51:6).

“We would have Healed Babylon (The common EXCUSE FROM CATHOLICS WHO ARE “Born Again” is that they are working from within to bring change), But she is not healed (Some have come out and that’s good BUT GOD SAYS COME OUT OR SHARE IN HER DESTRUCTION).

Forsake her, and (HER DOCTRINES OF DEVILS) let us go everyone to his own country; For her judgment reaches to heaven and is lifted up to the skies. The Lord has revealed our righteousness. Come and let us declare in Zion the work of the Lord our God” (Jeremiah 51:9,10).

“My people, go out of the midst of her! And let everyone deliver himself from the fierce anger of the Lord” (Jeremiah 51:45). See chapters 50 and 51.

“Up, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon” (Zechariah 2:7). addition to Babylon, we also find Sodom, Jerusalem and Rome used as symbols of apostasy, corruption and idolatry (Revelation 11:8; 17:18).
The expression “great city” is used in Scripture to designate idolatrous and evil cities: Nineveh (Genesis 10:11; Jonah 1:2; 3:2,3; 4:11); Gibeon (Joshua 10:1); Jerusalem (Jeremiah 22:8; Revelation 11:8); Sodom (Revelation 11:8); Babylon (Revelation 16:19; 18:10); Rome (Revelation 17:18).
If you compare the passages in Revelation, you will discover that Jerusalem, Sodom, Babylon and Rome are all referring to the same city! This is the city of the false prophet, the city of the Antichrist, the city which represents all rebellion to God.

We too must flee

In our time as well, God’s people are commanded to depart from Babylon. We ARE COMMANDED BY GOD not to participate in the false religion that surrounds us. God calls us out of Babylon and tells us to return to Zion:GOD’S KINGDOM “And I heard another voice from heaven saying, ‘Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities’” (Revelation 18:4,5).

How can God’s people be in Babylon? Referring to certain people who had not yet heard the Gospel, Jesus said: “Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city” (Acts 18:9,10). These were people who were searching for God and whose attitude was such that they would accept the Gospel. Through the preaching of Paul they were given an opportunity to repent and be saved, to escape from Babylon.

In His prayer to the Father, Jesus said: “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word” (John 17:6).

Cornelius is also a good example. He prayed regularly to God and did good deeds (Acts 10:4,31). Because God appreciated this, He provided Cornelius with an opportunity to hear the Gospel. Just through his prayer and good works, however, Cornelius was not yet saved! He was commanded: “Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon whose surname is Peter, who will tell you words by which you and all your household will be saved” (Acts 11:13,14). must we depart from Babylon? “Lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4).

What does it mean to depart from Babylon? “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols?” (2 Corinthians 6:14-16). “Belial” means “the worthless one” or “the lawless one”.

“Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you” (2 Corinthians 6:17). “Beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God” (2 Corinthians 7:1). Read 2 Corinthians 6:14 through 7:1.

Some people think they can compromise with a false religion. They try to serve Christ in the camp of the Antichrist! They think they can serve God inwardly although they remain in a denomination that deviates from the doctrine of Christ.

They are mistaken. If they remain in Babylon, they will perish with Babylon. “Whoever and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds” (2 John 9-11).

“Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch” (Matthew 15:13,14).

God warns us

“Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldees!” (Isaiah 48:20).

“Depart! Depart! Go out from there, touch no unclean thing; go out from the midst of her, be clean, you who bear the vessels of the LORD” (Isaiah 52:11).“Move from the midst of Babylon, Go out of the land of the Chaldeans” (Jeremiah 50:8).

“Flee from the midst of Babylon, And every one save his life! Do not be cut off in her iniquity, For this is the time of the Lord’s vengeance; He shall recompense her” (Jeremiah 51:6).

“We would have healed Babylon, But she is not healed. Forsake her, and let us go everyone to his own country” (Jeremiah 51:9).

“My people, go out of the midst of her! And let everyone deliver himself from the fierce anger of the Lord” (Jeremiah 51:45).

“Up, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon” (Zechariah 2:7). is the Catholic sacrament of Holy Eucharist? What is the Catholic definition of celebrating Holy Eucharist?“TALKING TO THE DEAD” A religious practice of dead religion FORBIDDEN BY God!

I am coming at this problem from an angle that I personally am familiar with as a former black witch in the Occult for 8 years. You may be asking…”Is there such as thing as a sixth sense?
Is it possible to communicate with the spirit world?

Popular television shows like Ghost Whisperer, Medium and John Edward Cross Country all seem to suggest that talking to the dead and communicating with spirits is quite possible and even normal, most of the time these shows are well made and entertaining. I personally like to watch these shows for the pure entertainment value ALONE with THE exception of John Edwards whom I believe is a fake Medium at best AND A REALLY GOOD GUESSER But what does the Bible say about talking to the dead?

The Old Testament warns against consulting (And this means in ANY FORM DIRECTLY or ) with mediums and psychics in several instances. These practices are considered detestable to the Lord.WHY?
Because God knows that in doing this we are really “Communicating with Demons” NOT WITH THE PEOPLE WE HAVE LOST!
You may be thinking…What does this have to do with the Church..both Catholic & Protestant? According to a recent study by the Baylor Institute for Studies of Religion, 20 percent of Americans believe that the living can communicate with the dead. In an on line survey of 10,000 Beliefnet members, 77 percent said they’d felt the presence of a spirit, angel or dead soul.
Both the survey results and the TV statistics indicate that women are more likely to believe it’s possible to interact with the spirit world. Forty-six percent of women surveyed believed that “the souls of the dead protect the living as spirit guides,” compared with 27 percent of men. Women were also more likely than men to believe that “the dead can hear our prayers or intercede with God on our behalf.”
Most interesting, people tend to view these spirits as protectors who may intervene to help in their daily lives. Forty-two percent in the Beliefnet survey said the souls protect the living by acting as guardian angels or spirit guides. Can you communicate with the dead only if you’re a—or a TV star? Thirty-six percent of Beliefnet poll respondents believed that talking to the dead is “something that everyone has potential for.”
All this interest in communicating with the dead comes despite the fact that Jews and Christians have prohibitions against it. The Bible says, “There shall not be found among you any one that consults a ghost or familiar spirit, or a necromancer” (Deut. 18:10).
One respondent captured a common Christian view when he said the appearance of a loved one is “the Devil in disguise.” These spirits are “simply a way to try to move us away from our close relationship with God.”

The Old Testament term for communicating with the dead is “necromancy.” (Deuteronomy 18:11, also read verse 10) It is forbidden by God: “There shall not be found among you… For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord” (an “abomination,” KJV).

Also see: 1 Samuel 28:3-20; 2 Chronicles 10:13, 14; Isaiah 8:19-22. The punishment for contacting the dead is very severe, if not repented of. must also include what Roman Catholicism claims is praying to the “saints” — the deceased who have been beatified, canonized, or placed in a position of spiritual superiority by the hierarchy. (Scripture refers to all believers as “saints.”) The real force at work in such “apparitions” (appearances of the deceased) is deception: demonic activity, evil spirits.
I am a personal witness to these deceptive beings “Pretending ” to be humans who once lived on earth,it does happen for Satan disguises himself as “an angel of light,” it says in 2 Corinthians 11:14. (He doesn’t approach us saying, “Boo!” or we’d run & hide.)
When prophecies or visions fail to come to pass, we know they’re not of God (Deuteronomy 18:21-22). But even if a vision or prophecy DOES COME TO PASS (and Satan can & does have the power to make THINGS COME TO PASS AS HE SAID THEY WOULD,AS LONG AS THAT THING IS WITHIN THE PLAN OF GOD;SO DON’T BE FOOLED, scripture says, we are still instructed to discern the source: if it doesn’t glorify Jesus — if it glorifies any other person, living or dead — it’s not of God. examine or

When someone claims to have received a “vision” of the dead, it’s really a deception of the enemy — demon forces at work.
Luke chapter 16 contains excellent instruction on the state of the dead, referring to an impassable separation between the after-life and this world. Those in the next world, saved or otherwise, simply do not return to deliver messages to the living:“[Lazarus] died and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom,” and the rich man died and suffered torment in Hades. A “great gulf” separated the two and was “fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.” (Luke 16:19-31)
Another example is the instance in which, at the death of his son, David testified: “I shall go to him, but he shall not return unto me.” (2 Samuel 12:15-23)
Not all miracles are of God. Satan performs lying signs and wonders (Exodus 7:9-12; 8:7, 17-19; Deuteronomy 13:1-5; Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; 2 Thessalonians 2:9; Revelation 13:13-14, 16:14; 19:20) The magicians in the times of Moses and Daniel could perform some magic (Exodus 7:9-12; 8:7; Daniel 1:20) … but their power is limited (Exodus 8:17-19; Daniel 2:2, 10, 27; 4:7; 5:7-8, 15).
Many Roman Catholics and others, lacking discernment* and knowledge of the Scriptures (“My people perish for lack of knowledge”) — and trusting the hierarchy of man — fail to “test the spirits and see whether they be of God” (1 John 4:1). They assume the priests do that for them! Some of the primary points relative to this issue include: a sign or wonder predicted comes to pass, but the person is enticed to follow after another god, we are to reject it. (Deuteronomy 13:1-5) Also, if the message delivered is contrary to Scripture, it’s not from God (Isaiah 8:20; 2 Timothy 3:16). Some religious messages don’t glorify Jesus at all; rather, the “vision” is glorified and, repeated again and again, perpetuated by tradition.
The Roman Catholic practice of praying to and for the dead can be traced in part to the Old Testament apocryphal books (2 Maccabees 12:46 “It is a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead.”) These books, rejected from the canon (“rule,” or “standard”) of Scripture, contain historical and geographical errors, and many teachings inconsistent with the rest of scripture: salvation by almsgiving; suicide; magic; angelic intercession; etc. Definitely nothing sturdy upon which to base one’s eternal destiny.
Matthew 24:23-27 (KJV)
”Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Colossians 2:18 (KJV)” Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,”
1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)” Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: ” Isaiah 8:19-20 (KJV)”And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Now here is a direct reference to a Lying spirit telling us he goes into men to Lie and mislead, but in this case God is using this Demon to his advantage to bring his plan into being for Israel.
1 Kings 22:21-23 (KJV)”And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so. Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee. “ Catholic Teaching of Praying to Saints and the virgin Mary HAVE WITCHCRAFT WRITTEN ALL OVER IT!
If you are a Roman Catholic, it would be very wise to be concerned as to why the Catholic Church teaches some things that are totally contrary to God’s word? One of these things the Bible clearly teaches us is that we are not to have or pray to graven images (statues).
“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God”, Exodus 20:4-5a THIS GOES FOR ALL CHRISTIANS WHO HAVE PICTURES OF JESUS OR CROSSES AROUND THEIR NECKS AS WELL!
Worship is a tricky thing and can be done sometimes without knowing it with Charms that we think ARE HARMLESS!
We all need to study God’s word daily so we can understand His truth. Another big difference and concern is, why do Catholics pray to saints when the Bible teaches very clearly to only pray to God?
If you are praying to Mary or a saint; you are also practicing necromancy. Necromancy is with those who are dead. It is a hideous sin that is an abomination to a holy God.
Deut. 8:10-12 “There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. “
Abomination is one of the strongest words used by God for something He utterly detests. ARE THE SAINTS DEAD? HAS MARY THE MOTHER OF JESUS DIED? Remember Mary did not EVER get raised from the dead in the same way as Christ did so she like all human beings is DEAD TO THIS PLAIN OF EXISTENCE unlike Jesus who can come and go as he pleases because he was raised in a spiritual body unlike those in Heaven.

The usual argument that this a spiritual exercise to bring us closer to God does NOT WORK BECAUSE OF THIS SPECIFIC WARNING! fact, you will be totally shocked and appalled to know that there is only one place recorded in the Bible where a person prayed to a saint. It was from the fiery depths of hell! Spoken from the very mouth of Jesus Himself of how a wicked man prayed in hell to a saint. Let us read the whole parable that Jesus spoke, so you cannot miss it:

“There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom:
the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead” (Luke 16:19-31).

This man prayed to and called Abraham his father, and this was very wrong. We all know that Abraham was a righteous man in scripture.
He was a great man of faith. If he wasn’t to be prayed to, then no other saints are to be prayed to either. If you are praying to Mary or any other saint you will also be where this rich man was one day. Jesus tells us to call no man Father except God in heaven.
Why are priests called Father?

“And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven” Matthew 23:9.
As he prayed to Abraham he knew where he had gone wrong. He had not repented while he had been alive. Now it was to late! But he still had mercy on his brothers, but unfortunately he was indoctrinated into believing that Abraham could help them. rich man in hell was telling a saint what would happen if those who rose from the dead would go to his brothers. Just like in his former life, the rich man obviously thought he knew what was best, but where did it get him? A place called hell! We need to trust in God’s word’s, not any priest’s, not our own heart; nothing… but the word of God!
Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His atoning blood so we could be forgiven of our sins. “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many;”
Hebrews 9:28.
There is absolutely no other sacrifice needed! Jesus paid our debt of sin in full!. Jesus said: “repent ye, and believe the gospel” Mark 1:15.

All He wants us to do is repent and believe His Gospel.

Now that we know what repent means, what does it mean to believe the Gospel?
This does not just mean to believe in God and believe what he did. Most people already believe God or a higher power that they call god. Believing the Gospel is much more than this. It is to believe that much in the Lord Jesus Christ that it causes a change of heart.

You become born again and set aside for God’s purposes. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name”: John 1:12.

Dear Catholic friend, ask yourself the most important question; do you trust in God’s word or in man’s?

As you have seen, the Bible and Catholic teachings appear to be completely different on what really matters most. Which way will you turn?

Will you trust in the living and the risen savior?

The One who rose from the dead so you can live again?

Or will you continue to trust in man’s word which will not be able to do anything for you when you stand at the judgment seat of Christ.

Are you still determined to pray to any dead saint or idol?

What can they possibly do for you once you are in hell?

Why not put your trust in Jesus Christ, the living Lord and Savior the only one who can save you death and hell. “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” Revelation 1:18.

Now is the time to repent and pray to God the Father in heaven who is the only one that can save you from hell by His Son Jesus Christ. “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” Matthew 10:28

Truth Left Behind: End Time Problems exposed!

Truth Left Behindby Pastor Steve Wohlberg

An Amazing Fact:

The nation was shocked by a tragedy in late March 1997 when 39 members of the Heaven’s Gate cult took their own lives.

The cult members committed suicide by downing fatal doses of a lethal cocktail mixture of phenobarbital and vodka. Heaven’s Gate members sincerely believed that Hale-Bopp, an unusually bright comet, was a sign that they were supposed to leave their earthly bodies (or “containers”) and be raptured up to a spacecraft traveling behind the comet that would take them to a higher plane of existence. message posted on their website stated that “Hale-Bopp’s approach is the ‘marker’ we’ve been waiting for-the time for the arrival of the spacecraft from the Level Above Human to take us home to ‘Their World’ in the literal Heavens.” They sincerely believed the comet marked their “graduation” from the Human Evolutionary Level.

The Ultimate Deception

Rapture, prophecy or heresy: Will biblical christians be removed from the earth to heaven? : God’s word vs man’s doctrine

“We are happily prepared to leave ‘this world’,” wrote cult leader Marshall Applewhite (alias “Do”), who quoted selectively from the Bible and various episodes of Star Trek to support his teachings that they would be raptured to this invisible spacecraft.

All around the world, people are struggling to understand the Bible’s end-time prophecies. Christians everywhere sense that Jesus Christ will soon return to planet Earth.

In the 1990s, Bible scholar Tim LaHaye and storyteller Jerry Jenkins teamed up to create a fascinating series of novels designed to make the book of Revelation more real to Christians today. Their first book, published in 1995, was simply called Left Behind. This single book sold so many copies that Barnes & Noble Bookstores voted it “One of the top ten best-selling books of the 20th century.”

USA Today has labeled it “Wildly popular-and highly controversial.” of this incredible response, LaHaye and Jenkins decided to expand their project into a sequence of 12 books. The Indwelling-The Beast Takes Possession, was listed as a New York Times Bestseller.

The Mark-The Beast Rules the World, became an immediate runaway hit. Amazingly, the entire project is now being called “The best-selling series of all time.” On February 2, 2001, Left Behind: The Movie, produced by Cloud Ten Pictures, is scheduled to open in theaters across America.
A Gripping Saga
The story begins with the sudden vanishing of Christians into thin air, which is commonly called the rapture. The rest of mankind, having been left behind, suddenly wake up to the nightmare of a world gone mad. Mass confusion hits as unmanned cars veer out of control, pilotless planes crash, fires erupt, and total hysteria sweeps over the globe.

“The disappearances” will usher the world into “a seven-year period called the Tribulation” (Tribulation Force, inside cover). In the midst of this universal panic, a mysterious and yet secretly evil Romanian man named Nicolae Carpathia (the Antichrist) rises to bring order out of chaos. “One of the most powerful and charismatic personalities ever” (Ibid., ix), Carpathia takes control of the United Nations. his inner wickedness is a brave host of new believers (a.k.a. the Tribulation Force) who are determined to resist his hypnotic power. Finally, this sinister world leader unveils his ultimate test of loyalty: the insertion of a high-tech biochip into the foreheads and hands of all people.
The Left Behind series follows the lives of certain fictitious characters who, having missed the rapture, are forced to struggle against the Antichrist, his global community, and ultimately against the enforcement of the mark of the beast.

Just as millions of Americans daily follow the lives of their favorite soap opera actors, even so millions of Christians are now following the lives of these imaginary Left Behind personalities as the saga continues to unfold. Even young people are being affected through a special version of Left Behind books just for kids, which includes a Tribulation Force Underground Kit.

Underneath the excitement and drama of this incredibly popular story, is it possible that something is just not quite right? Could it be that in the midst of Left Behind’s focus on missing people, important Bible truths are also missing? If so, which ones? Paul wrote, “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21).

Accepted vs. Accurate Bible certainly does teach the exciting truth that Jesus Christ will return for His people. Jesus Himself said, “I will come again, and receive you unto myself” (John 14:3). The clearest text in the Bible about the rapture is 1 Thessalonians 4:17.

Countless Christians know it by heart, and it is cited in Left Behind: The Movie. Paul wrote that believers in Jesus Christ will someday be “caught up … in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air” (1 Thessalonians 4:17). What we must do is to carefully examine the timing of the rapture, for this is a crucial issue.

According to Left Behind, the return of Jesus Christ actually takes place in two distinct phases. First, Jesus returns silently and secretly to catch away true believers. This begins the “seven-year period called the Tribulation.” During the Tribulation, this diabolical man known as the Antichrist rises to enforce the mark of the beast. At the end of the Tribulation, our Lord returns visibly, which is called Christ’s “glorious appearing.”

Therefore, according to Left Behind, the rapture comes first, and then, seven years later, is the second coming of Jesus Christ at the end of the world. With minor variations, this scenario is now accepted by millions of Bible-believing Christians around the globe as an accurate picture of end-time events. are three mighty pillars that stand out in this teaching, and it is safe to say that the entire Left Behind project rests firmly atop each one of them.

  • Pillar 1 – The rapture does not take place at the visible second coming of Jesus Christ, but seven years before it.
  • Pillar 2 – Those who miss the rapture will have a second chance to accept Jesus and be saved.
  • Pillar 3 – True believers today will not have to face the Antichrist or the mark of the beast.

We wish to follow Paul’s counsel to “Prove all things” by carefully examining these pillars, in the light of Scripture, while watching out for any signs of structural cracks.

Perfect Timing
Pillar 1 says that the rapture and the second coming do not occur simultaneously. Paul clearly states in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 that “We which are alive and remain shall be caught up.” Although the exact word “rapture” doesn’t appear anywhere in the Bible, the idea comes from those two words “caught up.” A simple comparison of verse 17 with verse 15, which says, “We which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord,” makes it very clear that believers will be “caught up” at “the coming of the Lord.” this point, we must carefully examine what the Bible says about His coming. Will believers be caught up at a silent and invisible coming of the Lord before the Tribulation, as taught in Left Behind? Or will believers be caught up at the deafening “glorious appearing” of Jesus Christ at the end of the world?

Israel in Prophecy with Steve Wohlberg 5 VHS Set

Right in between verses 15 and 17, Paul wrote, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump [or trumpet] of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first” (1 Thessalonians 4:16). Left Behind describes this as a silent and secret event, yet doesn’t it sound rather loud and noisy? There is a shout, a voice, and a trumpet.

End Time Delusions long time ago, Jeremiah recorded a prophecy regarding the coming of the Lord that clearly parallels 1 Thessalonians 4:16. He wrote: “The Lord shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.

A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the Lord hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the Lord. Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.

And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground” (Jeremiah 25:30-33).

Both Jeremiah and Paul describe a coming of the Lord during which there is a loud “voice” and “a shout.” Jeremiah provides additional information by saying that the Lord will “mightily roar,” and then he says that a “noise” shall be heard worldwide. None of this sounds like a silent and secret return of Jesus prior to the Tribulation.

A Thief in the Night said this tremendous “day of the Lord” will finally arrive like “a thief in the night” (1 Thessalonians 5:2).

Many interpret this to mean that Jesus will come like a silent thief to steal believers out of this world. Then cars will crash, planes will collide, sacked quarterbacks at football games will vanish, and babies will be missing from their cribs.

The popular Christian film A Thief in the Night, which is similar to Left Behind: The Movie, also presents this perspective. Yet is this really what Paul is saying?

Again, let’s take a closer look at Scripture. Paul wrote: “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape” (1 Thessalonians 5:2-3).
Do you see what Paul is saying? Jesus’ coming as a “thief in the night” does not mean He will come quietly and invisibly to steal believers out of this world, as is taught in Left Behind. Rather, it means He will come unexpectedly, bringing “sudden destruction” upon the unsaved. is not secret, only sudden. Notice again what Paul said: “But ye, brethren, are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness” (verses 4-5).

Did you catch that? Jesus does not come as a thief in the night to believers, but only to those who are of the night. Will those who are “of the night”-that is, the unprepared-be given a second chance to be saved? Paul wrote, “They shall not escape” (verse 3).

The apostle Peter also wrote about this same return of Jesus Christ as a thief in the night: “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up” (2 Peter 3:10).

According to Peter, this coming of Jesus Christ as a thief in the night is definitely not a silent and secret event that precedes a seven-year period of Tribulation. Rather, this day arrives suddenly, with “a great noise” (as also described by Jeremiah), and is clearly associated with the end of the world! A crack is forming in Pillar 1. about the rapture taking place “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye”? This is probably the second greatest text in the Bible now being used to support the idea of Christians vanishing prior to the Tribulation. Paul wrote, “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1 Corinthians 15:51-52).

Is Paul saying that believers will mysteriously vanish from the earth prior to the Tribulation, while their loved ones blink? Not at all! He is saying that the dead will be raised and their bodies will be changed “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.” But when will this “moment” take place? Paul’s answer is clear. It will occur “at the last trump,” when “the trumpet shall sound,” at the end of the world. This is that very same “great sound of a trumpet” Jesus said would be heard at His second coming (Matthew 24:31)!

Pillar 1 is disintegrating.

Waiting Until It’s Too Late

As previously noted, Pillar 2 supporting the Left Behind project is the theory that those who miss the rapture will have during the Tribulation a second chance to be saved. This idea is dangerous because it leads some people to rationalize that “If the Bible is really true and if the rapture does take place, then I’ll know for sure God is real. It may be tough, but I can still join the Tribulation Force during the seven years. Even if that Antichrist guy tries to kill me, I will resist the mark!” fostering this foolish attitude is certainly not the intent of the Left Behind authors, nevertheless, the secret rapture theory can easily lead people to adopt a “wait and see” philosophy, and thus put off making a decision to follow Jesus. Paul wrote that all who are not fully on the Lord’s side when believers are “caught up” (1 Thessalonians 4:17) “shall not escape” (1 Thessalonians 5:3). As you can see, Pillar 2 has very serious problems.
Left Behind also teaches that the Church will not be here on earth for Armageddon. Is this true?

The word “Armageddon” appears only once in the Bible. It is found in Revelation 16, the great chapter describing the falling of the seven last plagues. Between the sixth and seventh last plagues, Jesus Christ thunders: “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon” (Revelation 16:15-16).

Did you catch that? Jesus is talking to the Church! While the seven plagues are falling, and right before the battle of Armageddon, Jesus Christ has not yet come as a thief! Therefore He must come like a thief at Armageddon, and that must be the time when He comes to gather His Church. used the language of the military when, like a commanding officer, he urged the soldiers of the cross to “Take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:13).

How can we stand in “the evil day” if we have previously disappeared? Jesus Christ also said to the believers, “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. … But he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 24:9, 13, NKJV). Paul also advised the church that “we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God” (Acts 14:22).

Jesus will save His church-not from tribulation, but rather through it!

Our Lord loves us and will strengthen us in the final times. That’s why He promised: “I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world” (Matthew 28:20). We can trust Him in this.
What About the Seven Years?

The Bible text that serves as the foundation for the entire seven-year Tribulation theory is Daniel 9:27, which is the very first verse quoted in Left Behind: The Movie. It says: “He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week; and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice … to cease.” day in prophecy represents a year (Numbers 14:34; Ezekiel 4:6), thus the period of “one week” actually represents seven years. Millions are now applying this to a future seven-year period of Tribulation. “He” is interpreted to be the Antichrist, who will make a covenant with the Jews during the Tribulation.

What many don’t realize is that there is a more logical interpretation that has far more biblical support. It has been taught by many credible Bible scholars who have written respected commentaries that are now in the libraries of pastors across America.

One example is the world-famous Matthew Henry’s Bible commentary. It doesn’t apply Daniel 9:27 to the Antichrist at all, nor does it apply the “one week” to a seven-year period of Tribulation after the rapture. Rather, it applies the prophecy to Jesus Christ, who, after three and a half years of loving ministry, died “in the midst of the week,” which ultimately caused all animal sacrifices to cease!

Here’s the quotation from Matthew Henry’s famous commentary: “By offering himself a sacrifice once and for all he [Jesus] shall put an end to all Levitical sacrifices.”1 Another excellent Bible commentary written by Adam Clarke says that during the “term of seven years” (Daniel 9:27), Jesus Christ would “confirm or ratify the new covenant with mankind.”2 Here’s one more from the much-respected Jamieson, Fausset and Brown commentary:

“He shall confirm the covenant-Christ. The confirmation of the covenant is assigned to Him.”3
Take a careful look at Daniel 9:27 itself. God’s Word says, “He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week.” Notice that Jesus Christ Himself said, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many” (Matthew 26:28, NKJV). A perfect fit!

Both use the words “covenant” and “many.”

Left Behind Deception: Revealing Dangerous Errors About the Rapture, the Antichrist, and the Mark of the Beast

Hour of the Witch: Harry Potter, Wicca Witchcraft, and the Bible [VHS] Lord Jesus Christ is the One through whom “the covenant … was confirmed” (Galatians 3:17; see also Romans 15:8, NKJV). In the midst of the week, after three and a half years, Jesus gave His life for us, “causing the sacrifice to cease.” He was the final Sacrifice. No more sacrifices are to be offered (Hebrews 10:12). Period.

In my earlier book, Exploding the Israel Deception, Chapter 5 is called “The 70th Week of Daniel Delusion.” There I give many more solid reasons why Daniel 9:27 doesn’t apply to the Antichrist at all, but to Jesus Christ alone.

The entire Left Behind idea of a seven-year period of Tribulation after the rapture may go down in history as the greatest evangelical misinterpretation of all time. The whole concept is like a gigantic bubble. Once Daniel 9:27 is correctly understood and the pointed pin of truth is inserted, “Pop goes the seven years!”

A Life-or-Death Matter want to conclude by talking about Pillar 3, which states that true believers today will not have to face the Antichrist and the mark of the beast. It is right here that emotions fly and reason vanishes just as instantaneously as those disappearing Christians in Left Behind:The Movie.

That’s because the mysterious mark of the beast is a life-or-death matter.

It concerns the destiny of the human soul. Admitting that the Church will still be on earth during the final great Tribulation means that Christians must someday face the Antichrist and the mark of the beast-issues over which they could lose their souls. Many people are deeply afraid of this, so they conclude there must be a secret rapture before the Tribulation. There just has to be!

A deep-seated fear of the mark plagues many people, though it need not be so. True Christians can learn a lesson from popular bumper stickers that say “Fear No Evil.” We don’t need to be afraid. We can trust in Jesus Christ, for He has promised, “Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world” (Matthew 28:20).

If the fictitious Tribulation Force in the Left Behind novels can overcome the Antichrist and the mark of the beast with God’s help, then so can we! those who are unwilling to even reasonably consider this issue, no amount of Bible evidence will convince them. Like a triple-bolted door in downtown New York, they are closed to the facts.

The result?

Truth is left behind.
